Well, I can't speak for others--but here is why I (as a Democrat) have zero respect for Steele.

I didn't start that way--in fact I thought he was a positive sign (and NOT because he's black).

When he called out Limbaugh for some of Rush's anti-American rants, I thought maybe Steele was just what the GOP so desperately needs--some one with the guts to stand up to the right wing.

Then--in less than 48 hours, Steele caved in and crawled to that fat, drug addicted slob. He proved he is nothing but a spineless jelly fish.
