Gop Frontrunner 2012

Jack Said:

So who's the GOP frontrunner to take on Obama in 2012?

We Answered:

Since Americans have shown that they are willing to elect someone of color as president, I would hope that Gov. Bobby Jindal of LA would have a shot come 2012. He already has a very impressive resume' and should be one of the frontrunners in the next election.

Corey Said:

Diana Said:

Who is the GOP's 2012 frontrunner?

We Answered:

Romney

Glenn Said:

How can we bring about truly limited government in this country?

We Answered:

Heavy taxes stagnate a nations economy.

Repeal the tax laws and rule them unconstitutional. Then the socialist government will have no power over the American citizen and capitalism and free markets will again reign supreme.

Marie Said:

What do you think of the 2012 GOP frontrunner's press conference?

We Answered:

The GOP has decent and honest thinkers amongst them.

Representative Ron Paul - although I cannot say I agree with every one of his positions, I find that his honesty and forthright candor and his unwillingness to play by the politically correct doctrines of the party amazingly refreshing.

Secondly, while I think Mr. Patrick Buchanan has had a tendency be hyberbolic, and he might not be PC, here again he is forthright and having read a fair number of his books. One can make a strong argument for the case that he is more the victim of much maligned intent than racist, and as such, while he might not be the candidate of choice in 2012; they are exemplars of the more traditional and thoughtful conservatism is well argued by men such as these.

The GOP likely won't but very definitely should look towards politicians with that level of personal integrity and straightforward approach and DON'T mess with it.

And that's the problem, it's that there ARE moderate and thoughtful Republicans, but they are stridently ignored, in favor of ideologues and empty vessel candidates who are merely figureheads offered up with the tacit understanding that they will have their keepers - who will be totally unaccountable - as was the case under President Bush.

Even Senator Mc Cain, would have been a much more attractive candidate had he not been brought into lock-step with the neocons' agenda items towards the mid-point of the conventions and election cycle.

For my personal viewpoint; Until it's clear to me that the neoconservative elements have been detached and preferably expunged from the environs of Washington and more pointedly the GOP political apparatus.

I will not vote for them again, as the interests of the neoconservative movement is clearly not in the overall or specific interests of the republic of the United States.
