Gop National Convention
Allan Said:
When and where will the next national GOP convention be held?We Answered:
From Wikipedia after google search 2012 GOP Convention"The 2012 Republican National Convention is scheduled to take place the week of August 27, 2012, [5] the week prior to when the 2012 Democratic National Convention is scheduled to take place.[6]
In February 2010, the RNC narrowed down its list of possible sites for the convention to the following three locations:[7]
Tampa, Florida
Salt Lake City, Utah
Phoenix, Arizona"
Dolores Said:
Do you think it is wrong that Nevada's GOP will select pro-McCain delegates to the national convention? We Answered:
Nope. RP was never in the race to begin with. He has since withdrawn from the race.BTW, he got 4 whole delegates in Nv.
He's a never-was, never will-be.
Holly Said:
Is it just me or did the CPAC National convention remind you of the RNC Convention last fall?We Answered:
It's the same old crap. Just a few different facesIsaac Said:
Should the term 'Shoe-Tapper' become the new euphemism to describe closeted, homosexual GOP Congressman? We Answered:
You know, if we could all grow up maybe gay men wouldn't feel the need to cover up and feel ashamed and frightened at the thought of exposure. Maybe they also wouldn't need to carry on in public restrooms, to be entrapped by policemen who would be better off on the streets. If a man is good at what he does, and the people he represents vote for him, why should they change their opinion of him because he likes sex with guys? We don't vote for a clergyman, or a theologian, or Mr. Morality Please Lead Me.
We vote for an official who has the right ideas and visions for governance.
I am a Democrat, straight, married for more years than most of you are old, but I'm not scared by gay men or lesbians. I've never wanted to be one, but I've never wanted to change one either. Name calling by either party is playing into old stereotypes and its unnecessary.
If its against your religion then don't vote for a gay person for deacon, but otherwise vote for the person not their choice of sex partner.
Allison Said:
Do you think it is a good idea that Ron Paul will hold a 'mini-convention' during the GOP national convention? We Answered:
Yes. Paul and Nader are the only ones trying to bring the truth of the Republicrats to light. If Paul got fair media coverage, he would be elected in a heartbeat. The people on top that are making the money control EVERYTHING, including reducing people who speak the truth to being "nutjobs". But I guess even nutjobs can hold on to their congressional seats for 20 years these days.Richard Said:
How do the GOP and Democratic national conventions decide their nominee? We Answered:
Delegates can vote how they choose most of teh time. They ussualy will not vote for someone if it will pi9ss off the masses tho.But lets say something happens and everyone in the country that is a republican said "wow, I really like Ron Paul better"
Then it would be the best thing for the republicans to not nominate McCain.
Same with Hillary at the DNC.
