Gop Nominee 2012

Leslie Said:

Will the Religious Right be able to support a Mormon Candidate for GOP nominee in 2012?

We Answered:

That's a really great question. I think a lot of people see Mitt Romney as waffling on important issues. I mean, his stance on abortion did a 180 degree turn when it was politically expedient to do so.

But, a lot of these fundamentalist churches actually do seminars on how cult-like the Mormon church is. So these people are actually indoctrinated to think of it that way.

I used to be a Mormon. The interesting thing about Mitt is that he is a temple-going Mormon, which means that he has taken a vow while in the temple to put his church before all else. I don't know if that is going to conflict with the vow he makes before the American people when he puts his hand on the Bible and vows to uphold the Constitution before all else. What if the two conflict? Which does he choose? God, or the country?

Isn't that a catch-22? If he chooses the country, he breaks his vow to his God. If he chooses God, he breaks his vow to his country and the people he is meant to lead. Either way...he breaks a promise.

Maxine Said:

Would Bobby Jindal make a good GOP nominee in 2012?

We Answered:

I hope he does run so we can all play the "Sesame Street" theme song everytime he speaks! We can digitally add some Muppets, too!

Tracy Said:

Who do you think will be the 2012 GOP nominee?

We Answered:

We need BOBBY JINDAL!!!!

Mildred Said:

Do you think Mitt Romney'll be the 2012 GOP Presidential nominee though ObamaCare is modeled after RomneyCare?

We Answered:

Not a chance, exactly for the reason you just stated.

Americans also don't respond well to rich people who fund their own campaings. Makes it look like your buying the office.

Leona Said:

Who else wants Palin to be the GOP nominee for 2012?

We Answered:

From one Palin hater to another: we are all PRAYING that she's the nominee in 2012...It will be a fvcking laugh roit !!!

Jo Said:

When the 2012 GOP nominee inevitably campaigns on fiscal conservatism, will you believe him/her?

We Answered:

Sadly, the credibility of the GOP is in question, so it would have to be a candidate with a strong enough character to stand alone, rather than with the party.
It happened in 1980, and it just might happen again!
