It will be remembered as the party that sold its soul to the Godless Christian right and stole the presidency in 2000 from the rightful winner, Al Gore. And it will be remembered as the party that all but brought the nation to the brink of bankruptcy by a self-serving, idiotic, moron of a president who started a war for no reason other than to remove a leader he didn't like and that that war resulted in thousands of deaths.

The Republican party is a damaged brand. It has no cohesive direction and has a steadily eroding leadership. The party clings (wink) to out-dated ideals and a sense of self-importance that has undermined it's success and our country.

Then again, it could just be because Bush and Cheney f*cked us over.

1. Support any and all wars and claim they're going well no matter what.
2. Vote with George Bush every chance you get.
3. Make it clear to the voters you will continue all the current administration's failed polices.
4. Try to paint your opponent as elitist when your wife is multi-millionaire and you forgot that you own seven houses.
5. Chose a vapid gun-toting idiot as your running mate.
6. Proudly claim there is nothing wrong with the economy when EVERYONE on earth says there is.
7. Make sure you and your running mate never answer a direct question and instead repeat useless platitudes like "Country First" and Drill, baby, drill."
8. Claim the reason you’ve run a totally negative campaign is because your opponent won't debate the way you want to. (waaaaa, waaaaaa)
9. Cancel your campaign unnecessarily so you can avoid debating your opponent and claim you're the ONLY person on earth that can solve the country's financial crisis.
10. Make sure your campaign rallies are gatherings of angry out of control mobs where they can freely vent their hateful racist ideology.
11. Buy your running mate $150,000 worth of clothes while the rest of the country loses their jobs, houses and retirement funds.
12. Pretty much act like a tool and a grumpy old man every chance you get.

And THAT ladies and gentlemen is how you lose an election!

Well right now all eyes are on the Tea Party Convention for talking points, and battle plans. Thus expect more bigotry and racial protest signs; and more propaganda lies from the Fox News. Its amazing how they lie and the video footage proves them wrong every time; yet they are allowed to continue, while others turn a blind eye.
