This is really a comment to the person who posted about not getting jobs from poor people. You need to remember that the recession began while GW Bush was president, at a time when taxes for the wealthy were being cut at a rapid rate. In that environment, the economy tanked. Why should anyone believe that enacting the same Bush tax policies now would have a different result?

They have child like tendencies. Only Thinking about what they can have now regardless of future ramifications. They lack the ability to see the big picture and how each piece of the economic puzzle fits together.

There can be an indictment only after it appears a crime has been committed. They all need to be indicted at this point.

Voters should be spanked for allowing this to happen - the politicians slipped acid into our lemonade, and while we've been playing out our fantasies with our credit cards, they've been digging us in deeper - we kept sending them back.

Ah - but there were a few from both sides who tried to warn us, but they screwed with our fantasy at the time and have now been put out to pasture.

To get this far into this mess, still no border, being the only country with the term "illegal immigrant rights", it took immense cooperation, and many shovels from both parties at the Federal, State, and local levels to dig this deep. I think we're done blaming one party or another - grow up America. We're riddled with cancer, time for some very unpleasant cuts or the whole thing collapses once and for all. Squabbling and fingerpointing need to stop. Remember, when you point one finger out at others, THREE are pointing right back at you. So sad.

But when the rich are punished for investing money, they will slow down their investments & that will slow down our economy.

Letting the rich keep more of their money means letting them invest more & letting companies hire more people. This stumulates the economy.

This is a no-win for the President. They'll hammer him if he supports allowing the tax cuts for the wealthy to expire, AND he'll get hammered for adding 830 billion dollars to the deficit, were he to support extending said tax cuts.
Either way, he's hammered (at least, in the eyes of tea baggers).
