It is demonstrable that most of the racist incidents at Tea Party events are plants
It is known that Tea Party members are only 60% Republican to begin with

Republicans are being associated with being against the mosque...of course 2/3 of Americans are against it so that can only help

Again 2/3 of Americans support the tough stand on illegals...so it helps the Republican party

With the Democrats alienating so many americans I don't see the DEMOCRAT party lasting beyond 2012.

I think it is almost impossible for the Republicans to take over the Senate. The House they will make great improvements on for sure.

As far as Civil War goes, no. There is no way. As a side note, I am interested to see what happens if the Republicans take control of Congress. Despite being a liberal, usually I am supportive of having separate parties controlling the branches so that we can have reasonable debate amongst the parties (think Republican Congress with Clinton) instead of a bunch of yes men who approve whatever the president does (think Republican Congress with Bush). However, this current Congress seems to lack the ability to do just about anything in a reasonable amount of time, so I wonder what a change in party would do...
