Healthcare Reform Gop

Vickie Said:

Who needs the GOP on healthcare reform?

We Answered:

I agree that all Americans deserve health care.

Lillie Said:

Has the GOP's fears grown now that the economy is recovering, and HealthCare reform will pass?

We Answered:

If the fear mongering, inane and hateful responses on Yahoo!Answers are an indication, I'd say yes.

Stacey Said:

What scares the GOP the most, Healthcare reform or the Economy improving?

We Answered:

Short term, Economic recovery, long term Health Care Reform.

Wilma Said:

Why are liberals and Democrats blaming GOP about problems with healthcare reform?

We Answered:

When Obamacare leaves the option open for employers to switch employee plans, the people will rail against it. They need more public support on it, but unfortunately for them, people are educating themselves and turning against it more every day.

Whereas, no one is discussing the very viable Republican reform alternative, Patients' Choice Act.

*lol* @ "Republican harrassment techniques" - like ACORN or SEIU? Oh wait... they're not Republican, are they?

Enrique Said:

Why would the GOP try to convince the dems they are making a mistake with healthcare reform when clearly ?

We Answered:

The bill is actually too good for them to implement.
GOP will rather let America drown than allow good thing to happen to ordinary Americans.
If GOP help implement that bill, they will never win election as the bill does more good than GOP claims.
GOP had most of their agenda embraced in that bill.
Obama's successes is GOP nightmare.
If the bill is so bad, they would just let Obama bury himself. But the opposite is the case.
Oh GOP will like to make it look bad of course

Doris Said:

Will a "repeal" rally cry burn the GOP on healthcare reform?

We Answered:

I think the rally cry will wear off because they have a rally cry for everything. Oil ban in AK, rally cry. healthcare reform, rally cry. immigration reform, rally cry. College loan reform, rally cry. National endoment for the arts (50 million dollars), rally cry. Helping haiti, rally cry. Taking troops out of Iraq, rally cry. having talks with Iran, rally cry. Plane crashes into IRS building, rally cry. Raising taxes on the super rich by a few %, rall cry. It loses it's affect after a while.

Valerie Said:

Now that the Gop has taken back the country, will they succeed in stopping healthcare reform for ever?

We Answered:

60 minus 1 is still 59, and 59 is still more than 50. But I don't know about GOP math (I know conservatives don't like facts and numbers and such "elitist" things like book-learnin').

As for those stepping down in 2010:
2 out of 58 Dems leaving Congress is about a 3% loss.
6 Republicans are leaving - that’s a 15% loss.

In the House, 11 out of 256 Democrats are stepping down – about 4%.
14 out of 178 Republicans – about 8%.
