Is the GOP in Texas sponsoring a bill to rewrite history, because the US Constitution is a Liberal Conspiracy? We Answered:
Yes, it's true. The Republicans in Texas, and a few of their neighboring States believe that the Separation of Church + State, along with many ideals found in the U.S. Constitution were a product of a Liberal Conspiracy, and so they're attempting to take it upon themselves to try to write it OUT of the History Books!
If Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson aren't enough for these grown-up, homeschool-ees, I'd say leaving this Nation, is their first option, however, once they take it upon themselves, in the name of religion, to begin trying to rewrite the Scientific Method, which several 100 million PHD's worldwide have independently agreed upon, which is really what these Neo-Con, Right-Wingers, want to do, then immediately after the Evil-Empires of North Korea and Iran, our U.S. Military needs to start pointing our Nukes at Texas, and Alaska.
Praise the Lord!

Is the present state of the GOP at the lowest point in history? We Answered:
I do not know if this is the worst shape that the GOP has ever been in, but, I do know that Even Republicans admit that their situation is not good. There is a LOT of anti-Republican sentiment in this country right now.Ellen Said:
Why is the GOP considered a racist party when throughout history they advocated the Civil Rights Movement? We Answered:
Back during the years before, during, and after the Civil War, you are right that the Democrats backed slavery and later the Jim Crow laws that kept black people down. Then during World War I and World War II, black people fought. They started out as soldiers and moved to navy and air force. Many, many of them died. And because of that, they felt they should be allowed more say in government.
And as they looked at the government in deciding how they would vote, they began to see that the federal government was more likely to give them their rights rather than the state governments. And as we all know, Democrats back federal government more, and Republicans back state governments more.
At this time, black people were mostly Republican, but many were beginning to leave to go to the Democrat party because of its backing of the federal government. This began to provide more candidates that were pro-civil rights among the Democrats. This began to concern and anger the racists that were still in the Democrat party. Those racists grew so concerned that they left the party and tried to come up with their own party, the Dixiecrats.
Fortunately, the Dixiecrats went NOWHERE. These racist politicians began to feel they were without a party, as both parties were currently moving toward giving civil rights to black people.
And this is where the Republicans will pick up the reputation for racism. Richard Nixon realizes what is happening in the Democrat Party, and how the racist politicians were leaving. And while he himself was not racist, he was power-hungry. He began to see that if the Democrats were going to let these racist politicians (who still had much support) go, then he would do what it takes to get their support. He used coded language to bring them into the Republican fold, and rode that wave of new support to the Presidency.
But as a price for it, the Republicans began sounding extremely racist, having brought in all those racists. So they picked up the reputation.
Nowadays, neither party is racist. Sure, they both have some racists, but the vast majority of both parties is not racist. But the Republicans were the last ones to have that reputation because of what Nixon did, and so they got stuck with the image. They have not done a whole lot to attract black people or Hispanics, or pretty much any other race, back; so the reputation remains.
The Republicans are not racist. But they are not putting out much of an effort to appeal to other races, either. If you were a racist, and then even after you stop being racist you don't do anything to show you are not racist, that image is going to stick; whether or not it is a fair assessment.
I know seeing Republicans as racist is not a fair assessment, but they are doing nothing to change that assessment.

Has Governor Palin reinvigorated the GOP and changed the tide of political history in America? We Answered:
I think she's made them excited. McCain was far too moderate to excite the conservative base. She's a conservative pure in heart. The GOP loves her even more because she has countered the celebrity status of Obama. The excitement over him has been reduced since she came in the picture.
But Palin will not be the next Reagan. That man completely redefined modern conservativism. She won't redefine it, but preserve it.

Has Obama's constant comments critical of the GOP contributed to the biggest partisan divide in history ?We Answered:
I thought the mud-slinging would have stopped after the election which is normally the case but Obama cannot let it go. I guess no one reminds him that okay the election is over and now let's move on to good governance. To answer your question I think this is the largest divide between the parties that I can recall.
