Carolyn Said:

In American politics what is the meaning of GOP?

We Answered:

The Republican Party is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States, along with the Democratic Party. Founded by anti-slavery expansion activists in 1854, it is often called the Grand Old Party or the GOP, despite being the younger of the two major parties. In the political spectrum, the party's platform is considered center-right.

Bill Said:

Do you support the GOP idea of forcing cities to give up their sanctuary status before getting bailed out?

We Answered:

Absolutely! The sanctuary city crap is a violation of federal law. It also encourages illegals to continue to invade our country. Time to put a stop to it.

We Answered:

For some it's:

Grand old Party
God's own Party or even

For others like me it's:

This latest description is most closely associated with the republican theme that the people can best govern themselves.

Tom Said:

When Republicans say companies are Groups Of People do they mean GOP?

We Answered:

The Democratic party consists of two groups. The first is the group that are just about as bad at being corporate sell-outs as the republican party is (I like the term "Corporate Dem's"). You'll hear them use terms like "bi-partisan" "free-market" or "free trade" which are buzz words that really mean, "get government out of the way, and let the wealthy and big business do whatever they want..." Which is what we have practiced over the past 30 years, with each president since Reagan (yes, Clinton is in this camp of Dem's).

The second are the more progressive Dem's. These are the ones that most reflect what the founders of this nation likely envisioned when trying to create a government "By and For" the people, that would look to serve the average American, and protect folks from the dynastic wealth and corporate power we've seen emerge in this country.
