Yes, isn't it coincidental that they just now choose to do this. Right after the election of President Barack Obama. Why particularly did they pick a Black man too. Because it wouldn't had gotten as much spot light if they had chosen another minority. Michael Steele is a prime example of an Uncle Tom. All he is a figure head for the republican agenda. They will try to use him as a trojan hourse to garnish minorities votes.

I really wasn't a big fan of Steele. He's fiscally conservative (I like that) but I disagree with some of his social views. I thought he said some stupid things last year.

But lately, I have liked what he has had to say. I guess I'm warming up to him. I still disagree with him in a few areas but I'm okay with that for now.

The GOP has had wins in those states but I don't know how much of those wins are directly due to Steele. If you have a link for exactly what part he took in winning those states, I'd read it. But even if he wasn't directly responsible for the wins, I've been liking what he has had to say in interviews. I wouldn't want to fire him.
