Michigan Gop Convention

Marsha Said:

Wouldn't it make sense to simply count HALF of the Florida/Michigan delegates like the GOP?

We Answered:

no, that's not logical.

you cannot split the votes based on the original percentages.

michigan is not russia. hillary was the only one on the ballot.

and hillary was in florida at a "fund raiser" the day before the election occur. she was getting coverage from the local media. so in effect, she campaigned there.

and time and time again, obama has shown that where he has campaigned in states that favored hillary, he has cut her leads tremendously and/or won the state outright.

but most importantly, florida and michigan broke the rules. and rule-breakers should not be rewarded.

and if the tables were turned and hillary was winning, she'd be the first one hollering about obama trying to change the rules in the middle of the game.

Tonya Said:

Why is the GOP nomination all split up? Who will win in the end?

We Answered:

If the party has any sense, Ron Paul will be the party's candidate!

Dianne Said:

How can you think McCain will win? (McCain-Palin supporters only)?

We Answered:

Well, there's wishful thinking.

Also, the polls could be wrong. (not lies, just problems getting a representative sample; people lying to pollsters)

Also, IF Obama supporters stay home, he won't win.

It's also possible the RNC will manage to prevent Democrats from voting, program the voting machines, or otherwise steal this election, as they did the last two.

I know you asked for McCAin supporters only, but you didn't have nay answers when I clicked (am working off-line for now).

It ain't over till it's over.

Ron Said:

Hillary, super-delagates and Florida/Michigan do-overs will destroy the Dems and elect McCain. Agree?

We Answered:

Yep. Even though I support Obama, I believe the Dems are creating a mess that will lose the general election in November. I, for one, will not vote Dem (regardless of the nominee) if the super delegates decide against the vote of the people. Nor will I vote Dem if MI and FL delegates are seated based on the "non-election" they have already cast ballots in. I don't know about others, but I do know my husband feels the same. If it happens, we will vote for McCain in November (and he has never voted for a GOP candidate...I was planning to vote Dem for the first time)

Brandy Said:

Dear fellow Democrats: If we have a brokered convention will John McCain win in November in a landslide?

We Answered:

Actually the dems are in a good position...the reason the candidates are splitting the vote is becausethe votes feel positive about both..... its not like there is a huge devide where people who support Obama now would refuse to support Clinton later, and vice versa
