I am a sikh. In Sikhism you can follow what ever religion you want and you can still be a Sikh. Christianity is directly tied to Jesus but Sikhism is directly tied to good actions. In other words, you are only a Christian if you believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to salvation BUT in Sikhism your good deeds are above everything. I believe that many Christians do not understand that you can have good intentions for society even though you "might not" or even not view Jesus as the only path. You can be any religion and still be a Sikh. If you do good deeds then you are a Sikh regardless of who or what you are. Simply put it, you can find the cure for AIDS and mass produce for free to anyone that needs it but if you dont' accept Jesus as your ONLY way to salvation, then your still going to hell according to Christianity.

Gandhi who was a Hindu had a very nice quote that went something like this..."I like your Christ, but I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are nothing like your Christ." Gandhi, who studied Jesus very much (a little unknown fact about him) has done more for our world than many Christians BUT according to Christian belief, his contributions to society will not bring him any salvation because he only viewed Jesus as a great man and not the path to salvation. Yes, Gandhi did use many tactics similar to what Jesus used such as non violence but it "ultimately" didn't save him.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Haley is fully aware that a good Christian is still a Sikh. I can go and be a good Muslim and I am still a Sikh. I can be a good Buddhist and am still a Sikh. Remember Sikhism is tied to good actions and deeds, nothing else.

The GOP isn't exclusive to white, just like the Democrats aren't exclusively Nonwhite. In fact, there are lots of nonwhites who make meaningful contributions to our country everyday without terrorizing us with crime.

Jindal for example....when have you seen an Indian gangbanger? Or an indian illegal alien? Have you ever met a Japanese immigrant that refused to learn English?They provide us with plenty of doctors and engineers that we might not be able to survive without, and they are probally getting angry at the democrats too.

its funny that they are all trying to pretend a Republican isn't a Republican, while trying to make the tea partiers think they won some marginal victory by picking between the choices they are given by the very group they claim to oppose.
