Yes, it was a huge political mistake. They knew that, and that is why FOX was the only network to cut the cameras. It's pretty hard to keep up their lies when the President is proving they're lying. Shedding light on things is the best way to dispel the lies, so this was a great triumph for the Democrats. That's why FOX cut the light. Hehehehe. Gotta love it!

So... basically, you're saying Obama should simply lie through his teeth much the way Bush did whenever he was attempting to legitimize taking action on something that he really had no right to do.

This entire "controversy" was created and fed by the media. The mosque (which firstly is not a mosque, but rather a community center that contains a mosque) is not *at* ground zero... it's something like 5 blocks away from the WTC site. In the same general area, you will also find strip clubs, fast food places, and street vendors hawking 9/11 merchandise (which personally, I find a lot more offensive... but you don't hear about that sort of thing, now do you?). The term "ground zero mosque" was initiated by the various news outlets covering the story presumably because there was nothing more interesting going on that day.

What *needs* to happen is for people to wake up and think for themselves instead of letting the television do it for them.
