Obama Meets With Gop

Cory Said:

Why is the GOP having problems with minorities?

We Answered:

That's a good question, and they're doubling down apparently.

The fact is the core constituency of the republican party is actually opposed to minorities. They would rather the country were all white, and they vote that way. They're against anything involving affirmative action. They're for racial profiling. Most of them dislike all Latinos because of their perception of illegal immigrants.

What's bad for republicans is that instead of trying to appeal to minorities, the republican party is doubling down, demonizing them even more, to appeal to their base. Which really might lose a generation of voters, as the hispanic population increases in Texas, Nevada, New Mexcio, Florida, etc.
