I think he should dumb it down. The "change change change" message was working pretty well. Then he starts making nuanced sociological analysis of race relations in America and the use of cultural issues to distract voters from the class warfare being waged against them by the wealthy and he manages to offend everyone. It is very hard for someone as intelligent as him to not come across as "elitist" to many Americans, who are reflexively anti-intellectual.

No. This administration still tries to claim they are "Bipartisan" and calls the other side "Obstructionist" when they couldn't even get all of their own senators on their side.

It's comical. You hear all the time "Republicans are obstructionists". Well, yeah...that's kind of what politics is about right? You strongly disagree with the policies of the other side....oh say the WAR IN IRAQ! So you're going to be an "obstructionist".
