Fist of all, those polls mean nothing, and that source is HIGHLY biased. Second, even if all that DID come true, they wouldn't take a majority. Even the GOP says they can't get a majority. And, even if hell froze over, and they DID get a majority, they are not going to get 66, which is what would be needed to over ride a Presidential veto, so they will STILL be impotent and ineffective.

And, they didn't "get a bounce from health care" because it hasn't been IMPLEMENTED yet. Wait until Seniors start getting those subsidies for medicine or when the Exchange starts...which, conveniently starts 1 month before the elections ;)

The "sell out" tag has been placed on Arlen Specter quite a few times in the past. That may be why he was among those approached first.
