Yes! It is an excellent idea to vote for the Green Party in these non-battleground states (states where it is certain to go one way or another).

As much as I distain the Electoral College as opposed to a national popular vote, a good "side effect" is that in states like California, you can have your discontent (or disgust) with the two major parties heard by voting third party, in this case the Green Party is a great way to go if you care about the environment. And even by voting 3rd party, you don't have to feel like your vote contributed to the election of a candidate that you may despise even more because you are not in a battleground state.

Why would probably the most liberal state in the country have a conservative governor. Judging from their financial problems California is 100% liberal, governor and everything else

Yes! 2nd question: We (Cali) have more illegal aliens then any other state - if u deported them - we'd actually spend less. We'd then actually spend the same $ on schools but with few students thus learning would go thru the roof.
