Texas Gop Convention

Alvin Said:

Do all those claiming Harry Reid should step down for racism agree the Texas GOP should disband for racism too?

We Answered:

Republicans are racist, that is part of their core values.

Ashley Said:

Did you see that Paul supporters and conservative Republicans won their GOP convention suit?

We Answered:

Nice!

As someone who was a delegate at my state's assembly, I can say that dirty pool is flagrantly played at that level, regardless of whether it violates law, party rules or just the general sense of fairness that we've learned since kindergarten. It's all geared toward allowing the members of the ruling class (party insiders) to set agendas and select delegates in such a manner as to ensure that they deliver to the big-money candidates whatever they've promised to them behind closed doors.

Amazingly, as a bunch of us Ron Paul supporters were talking amongst ourselves at the end of the assembly, one of those who denied us full participation had the gall to say to me, "I hope you won't split the party in November." My response to that person, and to any other Republican who reads this is, "You should have thought of that before actively disenfranchising those who constitute the future of your party."

To all disaffected Republicans, all disaffected Democrats, and all undecided Independents:

You have seen people from both sides of the aisle write that Ron Paul is a straight-shooter. Please, help to move the country back to its honest Constitutional roots. Write in Ron Paul for president in November! I have been a lifelong Republican, but my conscience will no longer allow me to vote for any more business-as-usual candidates. Really, the differences between the Democratic party's candidate and the Republican party's candidate are cosmetic. They both promise to cut government spending, but they really won't -- they'll cut a least-favored program and hand the money to another program. Neither will promise to end the police action in Iraq (it's not legally a war until Congress declares it, no matter how many time the spin doctors call it a "war" on terror). Neither will be able to fix the health care system, though they'd like you to believe otherwise. Neither will ease your tax burden. Neither will end government's spying on its own citizens. Only Ron Paul has put a plan in writing to do all that. Please set aside the disinformation about Dr. Paul that has been sown by the Big Money candidates and get educated at www.RonPaul200.com.

Lauren Said:

how come its considered playing the race card when you're pointing out the truth?

We Answered:

Dennis Miller doesn't know what he's talking about. His is a knee jekr reaction. If Obama references his ethnicity, which he rarely does, people scream "race card".

Anne Said:

How can republicans complain about senator Obama when they support stuff like this?

We Answered:

I think the pin was made in jest...

Unlike the comments made by Obama's mentors and buddies...

Tiffany Said:

Will the GOP convention be postponed?

We Answered:

I have a feeling that they will postpone it

Theodore Said:

Why did the Texas GOP allow a vendor to sell racist buttons at it's state convention last week? What does?

We Answered:

You have to wonder what any Republican thought... especially the people of color.
