I notice that people try to flame others by polarizing the different groups.

While I am not a Liberal, I have, and always will, vote the Democrat ticket. I am a progressive, but not a fanatic.

Similarly, most of my Republican associates are not at the extreme right end of the spectrum. Their families have always voted Republican, and they see no reason to change.

Thus, by calling all people not Conservative Liberal, and vice versa, you are only addressing a small segmant of society.

In addressing your "question," I believe it is lacking in foundation as I have seen many "Liberal" responses to ridiculous quips submitted by some people; and the "thumbs up" system is anonymous--there is no way of knowing if it was a "Liberal" who gave the thumbs down.

Actually, the anti-porn activists are often anti-feminist "traditional" women and men, there never was that many anti-porn feminists. Today, third-wave feminists don't even discuss it. Of course, anti-porn feminists got media attention decades ago, but as everyone expects anti-feminist, traditional women like Phyllis Schafly or at Concerned Women for America to be anti-porn, anti-birth control, anti-sex, it doesn't make news. It's hard to find many feminists who are anti-porn to argue with today, and frankly, I find the discussion rather futile. Porn has been around forever, outlawing it won't do any more good than outlawing alcohol or prostitution.
