Brian Said:
what are the main difference between Labor and Liberal Party Australia? We Answered:
The Liberal party tends to focus on the economy, getting the dollar strong, saving up, and creating assets. The Labour party tend to focus on spending the money that Liberal has saved up, putting it back into the country (hospitals, police force, and whatever else the population wants to see more of).
They both play their part, because the Liberals possibly neglect some of the things that people want, where as Labour may overindulge a bit and overspend, putting interest rates far too high.
There's some fantastic reading out there. Our two main parties are very similar to americas. Most of the same rules apply. I learned most of it from comparisons of the news and this book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i…

Liberal party of Australia, is it a white guy only party? We Answered:
ummmmmmmmMy family is a labor voting family by tradition.... but it was more to do with economics and social changes... than anything to do with skin tone..
as far as I have voted myself... I have voted for the Party i think the nation needs economically and socially at the time (NOT always labor...) and again race hasn't been a reason for voting or not voting...
as I believe we are all affected by what the government does economically and socially whatever your skin tone.....

What is the difference between the Australian Labor Party and The Liberal Party of Australia? Help!?We Answered:
I'm guessing you're talking about the differences of opinions and political stances.Labor is a bit left/centre-left and (small l) liberal in their views, while Liberal is a bit right/centre right and more conservative in their views.
Traditionally, Labor represented the working class, and stood for the rights of working families. They're also traditionally more progressive in their views (eg. pulling out of the Vietnam War, and the current discussions of pulling troops out of Iraq).
Liberal normally represent the upper-class, as seen with the (then controversial) introduction of GST, as this was viewed to affect lower income earners more.
Also traditionally Liberals are perceived by the public to be better financially than Labor, however there is no substantial proof of this.
However, more recently there have been claims that there is not much of a difference, particularly under Kevin Rudd, as he is somewhat 'right' compared to the traditional 'left' Labor stance.
Sorry, it's a bit rambly, just saying whatever comes to my head. Also, I may be a bit biased too, but I tried not to be.
Good luck with your essay :)

How many ministers in the Australia liberal party have convict ancestry? We Answered:
That I do not know but will assume maybe a few and at least I do know that the labor party is mainly of unionists who can not even run business and yet want to run the country. At the moment puppet Rudd is just saying whatever people want to hear. Howard on the other hand is what you see is what you getEduardo Said:
Is the Liberal Party of Australia the party for the rich?We Answered:
No. It is the more centrist party. The Liberal Party of Australia is a centre-right political party in Australia.
Founded a year after the 1943 federal election to replace the United Australia Party, the Liberal Party competes with the Australian Labor Party for political office. When in government it traditionally governs in a coalition with the National Party.
In federal politics, the Liberal Party is in opposition since losing the 2007 federal election, having held power since the 1996 election. The Liberals have been in opposition in all six Australian states and two mainland territories since 6 March 2002, one month after the 2002 South Australian election.
Following the 2007 federal election defeat, leader and deputy leaders John Howard and Peter Costello resigned from their positions, with Howard also losing his seat of Bennelong. In the resulting Liberal leadership election, Brendan Nelson and Julie Bishop emerged as the new leader and deputy leader.
