Fernando Said:
Can someone help me with ideas for colleges? We Answered:
Check out University of San Diego and Pepperdine (in Malibu). Both are Christian schools with high standards and beautiful campuses in Southern CaliforniaChristian Said:
Should I attend this college if I'm not too religious? We Answered:
Don't rule out a program that sounds right for you without checking into it more first. It would be a great idea to call their admissions office and ask what it would be like for a non-religious student there. Better yet, visit the campus and talk to the students.
Their website does say they have "freedom of inquiry" (here: http://www.georgetowncollege.edu/about.h… ), so you should be fine. But you want to make sure people won't be pushing you to get reborn or saved or come to church. Also that professors won't hold it against you.
So check out the attitude on campus and also look deeper into the program, and if it looks good, go for it!
