Any words of wisdom/advice for a college freshman? We Answered:
My advice is pretty pragmatic. Before attending this liberal arts college why not take two basic courses at a community college. You should take an entry level math and English course. You can work on getting re-oriented to college life and you can brush up on your skills. You can also pick up some basic pointers on financial aid, computers, and even make new friends. Also it will help you in your SAT and/or ACT preparation.Part of going back to school after an absence is getting over some fears about being back where the kids in most o your classes will be 18 or 19. No worries you have much more life experiences than they do.
But they have the advantage in that their study skills will most likely be better. My advice is to study hard, take plenty of road trips with your new college friends and have a great time learning.

What Christian denomination would you recommend? We Answered:
If you believe in the authority of the Bible, can you tell me where it is told that you have to be attached to a local church?Read and study the Word of God, together, raise your family in the grace and knowledge of God.
Have fellowship with God and Jesus Christ 2John verse 3.
Have a blessed and wonderful family.

If your not a religious person should you go to a christian college? We Answered:
You would not be the only there who believes as you do. (Who knows? Maybe even a professor or two.)My English teacher in the strict Christian college I attended in the 1960's did not believe in an afterlife. There were many students who had a strange concept of religion or who were not religious at all. No one made much of the "differences."
I think the school would welcome you.

answer this, libs ---if colleges aren't Marxist, how come they don't have conservative arts, but liberal ones?We Answered:
You're misunderstanding the lingo. In the world of collegiate studies "liberal" means new and free. Some college do teach Classical Arts, those would be the equivalent of "conservative arts"

Small Christian Liberal Arts School or Big University with Good Reputation? We Answered:
There is a line in THE RAZOR'S EDGE that goes "It is easy to be a saint on the top of a mountain."you need to ask yourself the question: Do you want to go to a bad college where it will be easy to "have a relationship with God" or do you want to go to a good college, where you might have to work to have a relationship with God?
Love -- whether it is with a human or a God, takes work and is worth little without it. Going to a bad school where you don't challenge yourself doesn't help you become a better Christian. It helps you become a robot. Does your God want robots in Heaven?
There are actually lots of Christian colleges that are very good academically. Most of them ar Catholic -- which may be a problem for you. But think about schools like Boston College, Holy Cross, Fordham, Georgetown and Villanova. They can offer you a Christian environment and a good education. They also will not force the Catholic doctrine on you.
