The "liberal studies" major seems redundant. If I were you, I'd just do the BA in Art History. Peace Corps is a great plan. You can later return to graduate school, and you'll be well set for a good career. The experience may change your plans, but it's good to have plans now. Perhaps you get into the Peace Corps and see a way you can help the world in the long run with an MBA, or JD. Perhaps you do become an Art Professor. Plans are fun.

Studying a 2nd language is an excellent idea.

Wow...good future/ foward thinking on your part sonny. I was a comm. major and it opens more doors than you think. Many organizations need people with good communication skills...I went into financial services and have since recvd my MBA. I think most companies just like to see a degree...unless it is a specific industry like construction mgmt or health sciences. And I think you can go for most any grad studies program as a undergrad comm major...again, unles it is specific like law school, or doc school. You should do what you love tho...get your music degree and then get a teaching cert and teach music. Think outside the box. Good luck man.

What you'll need to do is find a program that does an MA/PhD in cultural anthropology and apply. Since you've had no anthropological training, you'll spend the first few years taking courses that will give you an education in anthropology. It's completely doable, so start looking for programs that interest you now. You'll be far better off if you can figure out what you'd like to focus on within cultural anthro, but so long as you know that's what you're interested in you should be good to go.

if you find yourself in a anatomy class, you have to be able to recite the joints, tendons, ligaments, etc of every little part of your body. you don't have to believe that they exist...you just have to be able to recite it back.

i don't know why you would take an anatomy class if you didn't think the MCL existed and was a ligament in your knee. but all you would have to know is where it "theoretically was" to pass the class.

same can be said for geologists, biologists or physicists. only difference is....i do know why some would attain these majors if they didn't believe them. to make their creation crap sound more full of credentials.
