Seriously, someone drives through the projects and puts people on a bus, takes them to the polls and tells them how to vote. In 2000, barely-literate Florida Democrats who were told to vote for Gore and (Corrine) Brown cast votes for Gore and (Libertarian presidential candidate) *Harry* Browne, disenfranchising themselves by over-voting. Do you honestly believe that such a rabble could even *tell* when someone is wrong?

I think at a point in history, certain aspects of liberalism were crucial to positive progression (unions are a prime example).

However, I, being a liberal, will still concur with you that many elements of the modern liberal movement are somewhat counter-intuitive (modern labor unions are no longer serving the people they were designed to protect).

Still, I disagree with the assertion that liberals oppose capitalism (communism works well on paper lol, never, on any level, in application).

I believe it would serve America best if we just follow the Constitution for the first time in American History.
The Constitution Limits Government and places power in the hands of the Citizen!
Big Government is UnConstitutional.
Carrying on wars in foreign countries without a declaration of war is UnConstitutional.
Irresponsible behavior on the part of citizens can not be remedied by making all citizens responsible for the harm created. The person responsible must clean up his own mess. (Corporations, being legal entities, can be considered individuals in this matter.)
Forcing all citizens to clean up a mess enlarges Government and adds to the power of Government.
Citizens must be responsible for their own welfare.
Citizens must be allowed to keep the fruits of their labors. Government authority must be limited to those actions necessary for orderly organization of our society and dealing with national defense and legal matters.
Term Limits are needed because the citizens have demonstrated they are not competent to oust irresponsible, greedy, or corrupt politicians.
I generally agree with your intent and your goals, but your methods lend themselves to establishing a more powerful and potentially more corrupt form of tyrannical government.
