Leader Liberal Party
Vivian Said:
Do you think Stephane Dion will make a good leader for the Liberal Party? We Answered:
"good" and "liberal" cannot be in the same sentence. it is an oxymoron!Stephen Said:
Will the new liberal leader lead his party to victory in the next General Election in Canada? We Answered:
I hope the majority of the Canadian electorate looks carefully at the new liberal leader, his party, their policies and look at what is happening in the world. The liberals have been and still are a wishy washy party. So no I don't think the new liberal leader can win the next election.I hope enough Canadians are smart enough to realize that the liberals are still a wishy washy party, full of arrogance and still have the attitude of entitlement.
Conservatives have been critisized for following too close to the U.S.
I disagree loudly. Mr. Harper has raised issues with President Bush that concern both countries and has disagreed with him on many.
The Conservatives have beefed up our military that was sadly falling into disrepute. The previous liberals are appalled with military issues and don't give a damn about it. They think as many of their supporters that Canada is a peacekeeping nation meaning we just have to say to some warring factions, "now now stop fighting and lets talk this out". Hello! it does not work that way. To make peace you have to talk the talk and walk the walk. Which means engageing in concrete dialogue and show that you will use if necessary modern functioning equipment.
As well, the Conservatives are lowering the huge amounts of tax that we Canadians have to pay. I hope that when the next election comes, Canadians will give the governing Conservatives and PM Harper another term (minority is fine). For the official opposition I would like to see an NDP/Green Party coalition to police the environment issue. The environment is the only area that I can criticise the Conservatives on. The NDP/Greenparty MP's would do an excellent job of policing that area.
