Please recommend a list of 8-10 universities or liberal arts colleges i should apply to w/ my stats? We Answered:
Excellent list of accomplishments and your profile places you in great standing for scholarships/aid so don't let the high cost of an Ivy put you off. Schools I would recommend that have top-flight Biology programs are as follows:Dartmouth
Duke
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
Boston University
University of Virginia
Emory
Northwestern
University of Iowa
The public Ivys like the University of North Carolina, the University of Virginia and the University of Iowa would be great choices for you. They offer large diverse student bodies, an excellent education at a relatively reasonable cost (even for out of state tuition), outstanding resources for students in the sciences and they're each located in an ideal
(and safe) college town environment.

Large liberal arts colleges/small universities with liberal arts foundation? We Answered:
I attend Monmouth University and i LOVE it!! there are about 5,000 undergraduate students and 1,000 graduate students.Although it's not one of the top schools in the country, it has been featured in the Princeton Reviews Top 371 Colleges book numerous times.
The school DOES have an honors school, which I am a part of. The school is very small and very select. Within the honors school, entry level courses are taken as "cluster courses" (your English and Western Civ classes are in sections, where the same people are in the 2 classes so you can get to know other honors students and there is a common theme between the classes; this year is "leadership" and last year was "hubris".
The school is private, therefore is rather expensive (about $36,000) but financial aid and scholarships are very likely to obtain (I currently have a $14,000 academic scholarship at the university, and the rest is covered by financial aid for me!)
Monmouth University is located in West Long Branch NJ, about 2 blocks from the Jersey Shore. We're only about an hour from NYC and an hour and 20 minutes or so from Philly.
I hope this helps and you consider MU!

Liberal Arts Colleges vs. Universities? We Answered:
The liberal arts includes all non-professional majors, from English to arts to languages to social sciences to hard sciences to math and computer science. Most people major in the liberal arts even if they don't attend a pure liberal arts college, and many of the highest paying majors come from the liberal arts (physics, economics, computer science, math, chemistry). Now, degree for which you didn't pick a major (often called 'general studies' or 'liberal arts') are kinda useless; anyone who picked a specialty will have an advantage over you. But from a liberal arts college? No, many are very useful.
