Is it sad, I don't know why you believe that. There is so much more hatred of women and children in the thousands of women hate websites. Sites that cater to the hatred and abuse of women, many of which use their influence to degrade women as well as children. Needless to say when the abuse and rape and hatred of women goes below fifty percent perhaps we can discuss it again. But not in your or my lifetime.

Conservative pundits have managed to turn "liberal" into a dirty word, and associating anything, no matter the merits of that thing, with "liberal" has served to scare people off it. But I think that the general public is wising up to this strategy, so it doesn't work as well anymore. Thus, the true believers are still ranting on about "bleeding heart liberals" while the rest of the country has woken up to reality.
