Liberal Democrats Leader
Terrence Said:
Who was the best leader of the Liberal Democrats? We Answered:
ANDYT's got a point, Nick Clegg for all the complaining about getting into bed with the Tories (what else was he going to do?) he is the only leader who has actually got any Lib Dem Policies through, a few is better than none, which is what you would have got. Also he has done the mature thing by joining with the conservatives, it reins in some of the actions that would have happened had they won an outright majority.Liberals and Conservatives compromising on some of their differences and agreeing on common ground for the good of the country? From my time on Yahoo Q&A reading some of the American questions it makes me proud to be British. Don't discount the Lib Dems for doing what is in the countries best interests, the ability to sit around a table, agree to disagree, yet still work together is something that defines British politics and is the primary reason we have one of the longest, most stable democracies in the world.
