Hmmm, I can't see why one has to pick a 'label' for oneself as a feminist or anything else. The only use for that is so someone else can get a handle on your thinking and put you in a box for their convenience.

For the record, I'm probably every one of those types of feminist from time to time, and none of them at others. All of them have ideas and values I admire and would seek to make part of my life, and ideas I don't adhere to. One can choose in this as in other things.

I remember years ago seeing 'environmentalists' described in this type of 'pie chart' way ... but the environmental movement is a much broader church than half a dozen flip descriptions on a website can encompass, and so is feminism.

I would prefer that these women got their own careers, which are considerably less risky and more meaningful than currency trading. But it's good that they have economic independence on their minds. Every woman should have that.

EDIT TO ©å®®??: That's true, but these women aren't legally bound to the home. If they did get careers, and subsequently fight against systematic discrimination, they might inspire other married women to do the same.

Ouch. I'm sorry but I think from your description that the answer is probably very specific to a textbook from your course. Is there nothing from your notes in class that indicate what 7 concepts the book is presenting?

I could guess but that would certainly miss some and I might not agree with what the book or your instructor says are key concepts. In general, feminist theory deals with issues of inequality, gender politics, power relations and sexuality and analyses the history and causes involved. Some other concepts are discrimination, objectification, oppression, patriarchial societies and values, and stereotyping.

But it looks like your midterm requires a rote answer.
