You are correct. The right tries to use scary words like socialism to put fear into uninformed voters. They, along with Faux "News" use phrases like "far left" , "liberal loon" to disparage people.
Another tactic they use is to lie. "The dems will take away your guns" "The dems will raise your taxes" This kind of garbage is all they have to go on. They have nothing of substance to say. However, we can all go by the past eight years to figure out what John McCain will offer. NO THANKS!!
