As for the second part of your question, republicans can't even admit to reality. Even when everything is falling apart they blame others. Do you really think they believe their ideas and policies are failures? I don't.

if a thousand reporters say the dems are bad and one says the GOP is bad then the GOP will scream and cry about the liberal media... there is no liberal media... it swings with a definate bias that benefits the GOP... They just like to complain and cry "not fair"... if there was a liberal media then the coverage of the crooked dealings that got Bush in office 2 times would have been reported on much more vehemently... there was a lot of shenannigans that we were not told about by the so called liberal media

Pelosi is extremely unpopular and has betrayed many people on her way to the where she is today. Example: in her story that has evolved from “she never knew” to “she only knew they might do it” to “well, there’s nothing she could do about it.” Now, in the most shameful chapter in this saga yet, Pelosi ridiculously claims that the CIA lied to her. Then, when Pelosi was asked if she should have done more to speak out against torture, she answered “no”. She said she was too busy with important things at that time, like wresting control of Congress from the GOP.

In other words, her personal ambition and lust for power were too important for her to waste on efforts to protest the use of torture. But now that she is in control of Congress, she’ll make time for a “truth commission” and make whatever efforts are necessary to prosecute the Bush Administration for doing something she knew about and made no effort to stop. Pelosi is admitting that, in her world, power trumps values, and she’s not the least bit ashamed to acknowledge it. o_O

All news providers on TV have an agenda. They are commercial entities, trying to make money. Instead of whining about network bias, pull your head out of your TV and read a book, a newspaper, or the gazillion political entries online. Get some info, turn off your TV, and think. When you reach a conclusion and have a point of view that is backed by fact and reason, get back to us.
