Mae Said:
Who is the best candidate to defeat Mr Rudd, Costello or Turnbull? We Answered:
Neither. We need some fresh faces and ideas. Peter C. is too smug and Malcolm T. is too naive. Don't get all tied up with who the leader should be - cast your vote on who the Treasurer will be. That is the most important question.Jerry Said:

Another screwed up howard policy? We Answered:
This is the first step on the road to our destruction.Howard is hoping that mining uranium will prop up his so called "economic prosperity" with another mining boom. Australia has the largest deposits of uranium in the world and co-incidentally, (or not!) most of them are under the land he has just taken off the Aboriginal communities in NT and WA. He doesn't care two hoots what China and India are going to do with the uranium, all he cares about is storing up money. So now we will have a developing instability in Asia that will come home to bite us on the bum. And when we start the Australian nuclear industry he has in mind we will be the target for these countries in the future. Does anyone remember the story of "Pig-Iron Bob"? Maybe we should call Howard "Yellow Cake John".

Who is the best to defeat Mr Rudd, Turnbull or Costello? We Answered:
You would've got a lot more answers had this been in politics and not books and authors, but oh well.Of course Costello would have been better suited to take on Rudd. Right now everybody is concerned about the state of the economy, and Costello is by far the most experienced in that area. Turnball is failing to attract the attention of voters as he spends more time thinking of new ways to say "no" to everything the Rudd Government does instead of actually working on new policies that will help us in the time we need it. I like to think of Rudd as the "yes man" and Turnball as the "no man", because Rudd always says yes to gain the popularity, even if it isn't what we need, and Turnball will always say no to annoy Rudd even if its what's best.
The one thing you said that I didn't agree with was that Costello will distance himself from Howard's policies. The problem with Costello is he isn't willing to take chances and implement change. Its the reason he never went forward and fought to become PM, and its the reason that even if he was, he would keep majorly to the policies that were in place before him. I think Costello would be a brilliant PM if he actually gained some confidence in his own ideas for policies and ran, but until then we've got Rudd.
