The movement is made up of many all wanting a change in the right direction. of the Democrat Tea Party members they voted for change and it was bad. Go back nine hours ago and look at the question Roy Rogers has up about Freddie and Fannie. The link he provides tells it all where the democrats used the card to stifle opposition to the housing market irregularities.

The opposition will have to go against, in that case and this the playing of cards and no hold must be barred. like the housing mess. Even Bush got on the tube and said everyone should own a home. loans at 105% of value. Now you need 20% down and good credit. This started with the Clinton administration and the there were 4,000 different type mortgage packages. Most gave a normal affordable mortgage payment until the 5th year and then it ballooned and interest went up, thus no one could afford it.

In 2008 250,000 defaulted and just walked away fro their mortgages, last year 500,000. there are still 16 million that are also upside down on their mortgages, in other words they owe more than the property it worth and if they walk away then it's over. So the lawmakers need to do a TARP for them lower the interest rate and allow them to pay what they were paying and tack the rest o the end of the mortgage. Wouldn't that be better than having 15 million homes on the market?

Maybe everyone deserves a home,, health care and college education, but at what cost. If the borders and favored nation status is revised and fixed then we may have a chance at righting the ship. But as long as the opposition lies and plays "cards" and the right even gives it notice then it will be hard. Ignore them, just like many answers here. but go back and look at that question and link it will surprise you and as I said if the Republicans make Bush an anomaly and go back to fiscal conservatism then we have a chance, but to give things to people for no reason other than they manipulate the situation and by giving an inch they take a mile, then forget it.

Why didn't the media show other congressmen being hollered at? makes you wonder or was that whole thing a set up like the broken door that didn't show up on the security camera and had to have been cracked when the door was open. Cry wolf.
The Tea Party will survive even if it was started by the clan or what ever the libs come up with, ha, ha.

I was to some extent, and am so very disappointed to be partly correct.

The Liberals in Tassie are not the Liberals of old ~ they are true "social Conservatives" who have pledged to start rolling back individual freedoms and civil rights and introducing more religious influence into public life.

I loathe and despise this type, and fear greatly for NSW in the months to come.

At least SA may be able to hold back the tide. For the first time in my life I am considering the possibility of a move from NSW ... and am already very saddened at the prospect.
