Because I believe several of the radio stations where Thom Hartmann plays are owned by Jews and Bernie Sanders, the person who was asked the question in the clip is a Jewish senator from Vermont. Hartmann probably didn't want to offend his guest or his bosses.

Also, AIPAC is a major force to be reckoned with and many powerful politicians are afraid of them so why would a radio host be any different.

The democrats actually have a whole radio network. Air America is all liberal all the time. You want balance look at the television you have a multitude of networks and all, save one, are liberal. The only television network not liberal is FOX. The reason conservative talk radio does well is because it is the only place conservatives can express their opinions and hear what other conservatives have to say. Before talk radio all we ever heard was liberal propaganda.

I know, it is hilarious that liberals blast Fox News for bias, even though they almost always have someone representing both sides of any issue, but CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, NY Times, ect. are so blatantly bias that they have gone from bias to advocacy.

I find it maddening the bias approach to reporting news. Some simple examples:
NY Times headline at Strom Thurmond's death: " Strom Thurmond, Foe of Integration, Dies at 100"
NY Times headline at Robert KKK Byrd's death: "Robert Byrd, Respected Voice of the Senate, Dies at 92"

And then, of course there was the violent and racist Tea Party rallies, and the "mostly peaceful" protests against AZ 1070 where bottles and rocks were being thrown at police.

The examples are innumerable.

Talk shows are about having guests of various backgrounds and persuasions contributing facts and ideas. Limbaugh and Hannity aren't talk show hosts. Same with Beck. They are propagandists.

Most people don't listen to canned hate from uneducated shills, PRETENDING to offer discussion and debate. They're infomercials for crackpots, and the ones you mention are corporate puppets spreading bizarre fraud and perverse opinions in their "cheer leading" function.

If there were liberals doing the same thing, frankly, I'd ignore them, too.

One can hear the rantings and ravings of nitwits in most any saloon, and they're likely to be more credible than nutcakes who manufacture "talking points" to further craze the already demented and paranoid.

Goebbels, another slimy right wing reactionary swine from another period, would recognize what this activity.

Normal people just yawn and move on, same as they did for Father Coughlin, Joe Pyne, Downey and all the other lying, lowlife hacks who preceded this current crop.
