As for pissing off the terrorists , we do that by supporting Israel. If we acquiesce to their demands and stop supporting Israel, who will they demand we stop supporting next? What if the demand ultimately escalates to "convert to Islam" or else? The whinners don't understand that caving in to one demand is all it will take. I've come to the conclusion that liberals are to national security what the Chinese are to toy and food safety.

1. Because people accept things uncritically that confirm their preconceived notions or that tell them what they want to hear or what sounds good.

2. Because people like Al Sharpton (PETA does this too) belong to activist pressure groups that don't mind lying or bending the truth to push their agenda
