If I may add my dear, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front used to be known as the Moro NATIONAL Liberation Front (MNLF)--so they've kinda taken a turn for the worse when it comes to nomenclature.

However, the present name is still an improvement in my opinion over the group's original name--which was (and I kid you not).......BANG-Samoro...the name derived from the Malay word bangsa meaning nation or people, and the Spanish word moro, from the Spanish word for Moor.

Anyways, not sure who Samoro was, but he must've been quite the lady-killa....lol.
