Donna Said:

Could I get into Law School if I go to a artistic liberal arts college for undergraduate?

We Answered:

I had a classmate in law school who was legally blind and had a PhD in some computer field, so yes technical students can get into law school. My law school had a joint JD/MD program, so there were several students in the joint program with science backgrounds. Music would be an interesting major for law school: I could see someone looking to become a music agent or represent some record company or something like that. So, yes, you could basically major in just about anything and get into law school.

That said, you need a solid basis in reading comprehensiion and writing. That's why the majority of law students major in a liberal arts or business field, as they generally have a strong basis in those fields.

Ida Said:

Vassar and Smith College? Do I have a chance? What good Liberal Arts College would I get into?

We Answered:

At this point what is your GPA unweighted average? That is one of the bottom lines that colleges will need. You also did not indicate your SAT and /or your ACT composite scores which are usually taken in the 11th grade.

When the above information is obtained it will be easier to give you advice about college admission./
