I consider myself to be liberal and I disagree with you on the answer to evey question. However I suspect that part of our disagreement on the spending question arises from the fact that you do not know how much each government program cost and if you look at the budget and decided which programs you wanted to keep you would want to cut spending far less than 50%. On the question on trade most Liberals would agree with you, but I don't because I think there are benefits of trade both to us and the world but many people don't see them because the media tells about the harm but not the good it does.Amy Said:

I don't exactly think that, if a liberal (and that's certainly a relative term in Iran) candidate wins the presidency, it'll be some sort of quantum leap toward modern, democratic government. Remember, the real power in Iran lies with the Ayatollahs, not with elected officials. But even a small positive step is progress.
