The difference is simple:

If you deliberately target civilians for harm, you are a terrorist.

It doesn't matter whether you deliberately kill civilians in the name of peace, resistance, saving the whales, Allah, or Christmas. If you deliberately target civilians, you are a terrorist.

A resistance movement is a movement whose goal is the overthrow of a government or some other political aim. This is about one's goals. You can be a resistance movement and a terrorist group.

If you "aim" is the forced conversion or death of everyone else, that isn't a "resistance movement" either.

Resistance Retribution is a great game! The graphics are amazing, the sound is incredible, and the physics are realistic. The online must be very good but I haven't had the chance to play online yet. The story of the game is long so you will be very into the game as you play. I haven't played Killzone Liberation but from the looks of it, I wouldn't get it. The only thing that bothered me was that the game is $39.99, but after playing it, it was totally worth the money I paid.
