Seven Liberal Arts

Clifford Said:

Any tips on international, liberal arts colleges?

We Answered:

International applicants never do that well on the SAT as we don't prepare for it and much of the subject matter is unfamiliar. My younger daughter was an ace student in the UK and only managed 1400 so don't feel bad. The universities really do know that.

However, Harvard, Yale and alll the other good schools also require SATII subject tests. Are you aware of that?

The top liberal arts college in America is Williams. I suggest you take a look at it, great place.
Google for the full list. Consider all the top 10.

Stay away from the American university of Paris which is rubbish.

Edit: Williams is the top Liberal Arts college in America. If that is what you want, it is the one to go to. Harvard and Yale are not Liberal Arts colleges. Yes, the name will be recognised back in Europe.

The American university of Paris has a very poor academic ranking, no campus or accommodation and charges Ivy League fees. It is for sad Americans that want to study abroad but not study abroad if you know what I mean.

Edit2: The term 'Liberal Arts college' has a very specific meaning and refers to the arts courses everyone needs to take to graduate. My younger daughter was adamant that she not go to Yale who would have taken her but instead to a Liberal Arts college. Very different feel, much more intimate. Do you know why your here in America? Because of Christians , that's why our Country has been blessed. They lay ed down the foundation. Now whether you believe or not, That's the fact. Look at your American money. WE ARE because of Christians. Just because you don't believe does not mean that its not for the Good of all. Cause the alternative is actually scary. I believe we need to respect the people that started this country and yes I think that Christianity needs to be in all schools. Its who we are. If you don't believe it. Its your choice. Its History. Take your kids to another school. God Bless

Which school is better for finding a job?

We Answered:

Its really depends on the individuals potential and calibre for that particular work, i mean the more you are skilled and knowledgeable for a particular trade, the employers would try to catch on you.Over the years, I have seen that what is mostly appreciated is your practical work in that field, ur projects etc sets a good example in front of various company about your calibre. So, you should concentrate on your studies as diamonds you can find in coal mines. So, college is not that important but its your potential.
