A pharmacist deals with legal drugs and a musician usually deals with illegal drugs......
Seriously, a pharmacist requires eight years plus certification.
A great field as the population ages. Plus you can practice just about anywhere, at least in the state/states you are certified in.

My guy and I went to collage together. Same school, we both wanted the same things.He is music ed. and I am into psychology (and a member of psi chi lol) We are engaged now, have an apartment, and are very, very happy. I think it just depends on the couple. Looking toward the furture is what collage is all about. Do you see him as part of your future?Then why not include him in the package?

I also know others that did the same, and are great in their relationships.

One couple broke up, but they never see each other on campus anyway, and they both loved the school to begin with.

If you guys are both happy there, then why cant you both go there or close by? I see no prob. with it.

I think your best option would be to search for universities that specialize in the particular program you want to go into. If Journalism is your thing, find universities that have excellent journalism departments.

It may be outside of your zone of looking, but if you are actually searching for journalism, perhaps my alma mater of Marshall University in Huntington, WV would be appropriate. The school newspaper has been established for over 100 years and the student radio station WMUL has won numerous national awards for student broadcasting.

I strongly suggest looking at Fordham University in NYC. It has a long tradition of excellence and highly regarded and your stats look very comparable to their typical accepted student.
