What Is Liberal Arts Degree
Gene Said:
What is a liberal arts degree? What kind of job an I get with it?We Answered:
A degree in the liberal arts can mean anything from music to English to physics - the liberal arts are the non-professional degrees offered by colleges. A degree in 'liberal arts' as in a general studies major where you don't pick a major will limit you to jobs that require a generic college degree but no specific degree, like store manager.Kathryn Said:
what can u do with a liberal arts degree? We Answered:
Liberal Arts is a nice thing to take while exploring various classes and find out what really excites you. The market for liberal arts majors is slim unless they have advanced degrees in a speciality. If you graduate in LA then you have demonstrated to a future employer that you are well rounded. However, you are still going to be selected for employment behind people who have demonstrated skills applicable to the occupation.Jesse Said:
Is it a good idea to get a liberal arts degree first? We Answered:
I would not think it's a good idea to get a liberal arts degree first. I'd recommend taking liberal arts courses for the first year or two to figure out what you actually want to do.
