Salvador Said:
Who is a good 2012 Republican Presidential Candidate? Is Michael Steele or Bobby Jindal a strong newcomer? We Answered:
Of those two, Bobby Jindal has a much better chance of winning, but I still wouldn't bet on him. The biggest names being thrown out are Gingrich, Huckabee, Palin, and Romney. Of those, only Romney has any chance at all of winning the general election.Gene Said:
What are the odds of Ron Paul being nominated the Republican Presidential candidate in 2012?We Answered:
If you look at any individual candidate, nobody has a good shot at being nominated.Palin - she has next to 0 experience....she quit her job....she couldn't handle the media as governor.....she claims to be small government and joining the tea party then comes straight down to Arizona and endorses McCain against a smaller government opponent. She has no values and doesn't know enough about the issues....go to youtube and watch her. Even many republicans hate her.
She has no chance.
Romney - he's the "frontrunner" but he's the governor of a state with universal healthcare....the issue republicans are most furious about. That and he's mormon, which means nothing for president but tons of republicans have a problem with a president with different religious views than their own.
Huckabee - haha he's a preacher so same issue with romney, AND he wants to have a nation-wide ban on smoking, including on private property. (very unconstitutional) This man is insane and won't get the nomination.
Ron Paul - he wasn't allowed in debates in 2008, nobody knew who he was....he was shut down by the media. Well now he's back and people actually know who he is, and he won 2 straw polls (well 1 he lost by 1 vote to romney, but romney personally paid for 200 supporters to go and vote for him....so really Ron Paul won). Dr. Paul has become popular with his audit the fed bill.
Who else is there? Everyone else is just a shadow at this point....
Romney is the frontrunner but I guarantee you EVERY other candidate will attack him nonstop for his universal healthcare.....that and him being Mormon makes it hard for him to win.
It's ANYBODY'S nomination....so to everyone who's saying Ron Paul has no chance is simply a dumbass. Simple as that.
Jack Said:
Who would be the best Republican Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates in 2012?We Answered:
As for Vice President I really have no idea who I would want but for President Newt Gingrich is my man. I know he has no chance of getting the nomination but he is by far the smartest person in Washington. In a fair debate I cannot think of any Democrat who would stand a chance against him.
Marlene Said:
Who do you like better for Republican presidential candidate in 2012 - Octomommy or Sarah Palin? We Answered:
The former seems like the obvious choice.Alfredo Said:
Will the Republican Presidential Candidate for 2012 be Jesus Christ? We Answered:
That would be pretty cool, he would have my vote.We could just govern by the bible.
