Well he certainly has the right idea given the fact that many of our national security secrets have been discovered and released to the public by new organizations like the New York Times. But then, I guess that's what happens when you have nothing more than a journalism degree and a liberal arts education.

Edit: You forgot that their policies of deregulation lead to the current financial crisis, and that they pushed tax cuts that overwhelmingly favored the top 5% at the expense of everybody else.
