We Answered:

That is some Terrible News. Good news for her and horrible news for World Wrestling Entertainment.

Veronica Said:

Leiberman Independent, are the Republican's whooping with Joy?

We Answered:

The last statewide poll of all voters I saw had the republican guy at 9% and Lieberman/Lamont both in the mid 40's. I don't know why republicans would be whooping for joy over this. It's not like Lieberman is going to start voting in step with republicans now. 90% of his voting record is towing the democratic line. I don't see that changing just because he lost the primary. Plus you aren't counting the fact that all democrats didn't vote, or the fact that most voters in Conn. are registered unaffiliated, or independent.
I think Lieberman losing the primary is an example of people being fed up with the status quo. Remember two other incumbents also lost their primary battles, GA Dem. Mckinney and MI Rep. Joe Schwarz.
And I don't know why people are making a big deal about Lieberman being a vice presidential candidate in '00. Where's Jack Kemp been? Dan Quayle? Geraldine Ferraro? Nobody cares about former vice presidential nominees. Total non-issue.

Tommy Said:

I live in Connecticut, and I want to vote in the republican primaries. How do I start?

We Answered:

Download a Connecticut voter registration form at http://www.sots.ct.gov/ElectionsServices… Fill it out & mail it to the Registrar of Voters in your town.

Your application must be postmarked at least five days before the primary. (I think the primary is March 4, 2008.) And if you want to vote in the Republican primary, you must enroll in that party. (That's section 9 of the form.)

Viola Said:

Does anyone know that primaries are not president elections?

We Answered:

I disagree with the previous answerer....I don't think most of the people who are getting all paranoid and fanatical about the elections realize that the primaries are only the beginning of the process. I also sometimes wonder if some of these people who are over-reacting actually VOTE?????

Why're all of the clowns laughing at this: Linda McMahon won the Connecticut Republican Senate primary Tuesday?

We Answered:

Because she has no real experience when it comes to politics and she wants to go from a relative nobody to a Senate seat? To me, it's a joke! The only reason she won the primary is because out of the three candidates, one dropped out and then decided to run again (ruining his credibility) and the other one didn't have enough funding for his campaign. Linda McMahon spent $22 million of her own money on her campaign so far and it's only at the primary stage, which is and outrageous amount and it seems like she's trying to buy her Senate seat.
