Democrats- people are to stupid to run their own affairs and need big Governement to show them how and especially how to spend their own money (higher taxes)
Republicans - People must conform to certain moral and ethical standards (as decreed by Governement) and those who do not agree will be banished to the outer darkness.

First Off, I don't think Captain America would run as a Republican-- he was a product of the New Deal, and worked with FDR and Harry Truman during WWII. Also, in light of The Civil War series, it's pretty clear he believes in personal freedoms, which is not in line with the current Republican party. Cap already considered a run back in Captain America #250, and was running on the independent platform, so there.

That being said, Captain America would beat Batman. (Bruce Wayne) as President. Bruce Wayne isn't 35 yet according to the comics, but even if he was, he has a lot of baggage that vetting wouldn't allow through-- he's got a dead ward (Jason Todd), no wife, keeps adopting young boys, was wanted for murder, is tied to so many women, and his medical records would show multiple gunshot wounds, broken back, and all sorts of crazy things. I don't think he would enjoy it, either. His character is about direct action, something he really can't do as the President.

Cap has always been pretty open, gave up his secret identity without a second thought, and isn't scary. However, he'd be the oldest Presidential nominee, at about 88 (let's say he was just 25 when he was frozen in 1945). Cap has always been a communicator and a leader, too, not a strength of Batman's, who tends to be quiet.

Also, I don't think you can hide a batcave underneath the White House.

As for people questioning if Bruce Wayne's a democrat, he's a philanthropist, not a capitalist-- he inherited a gigantic fortune, and is just the titular head of Wayne Enterprises. His "day job" is heading the Wayne Foundation, which does nothing but give away money. He is anti-gun and pro-reform.

money has some part, also religious views, different views on social concerns also play a part, and how much part the government should have directly in people's lives. I know there is so much more but I am not the most knowledgeable person on this subject. :(

Absolutely, but it is somewhat sutile. I watched the news for years and until someone pointed it out I had not noticed.

One way is if a Democrat is caught in wrong doing the fact he is a Democrat is not mentioned or mentioned in passing. If a Republican is caught he is identified as " Republican (title) (name)". The Democrat is referred to as (name) then his position or the fact that he is a Democrat may or may not be mentioned later in the story.

Even if they are caught in the same wrong doing what the Democrat did is discussed as an excusable mistake, while the Republican wrong doing is discribed as almost criminal.

I dont want to be paying for abortion through my taxes, I dont need my taxes raised up high, I dont want the economy to start to crumble, I dont need for the next 2 years nothing to be dont, because they are so busy investigating just one party over another. They need an outside non corruptable source to investigate everyone on capital hill, then maybe because their is a little fire under their butts then we will see some issues actually worked on and not manicures and pedicures (I am not talking about just the women either...)
