I checked three of your links, picked at random. The first two were not about the relationship between intelligence and conservatism. The third was an article claiming a negative correlation between conservatism and cognitive ability. I take it you don't know what 'negative correlation' means.

Until we get the big money out of politics, there will be no major change in the level of corruption in Washington.

Personally, my vote goes to the politician who has proven he/she wants to eliminate the influence of lobbyists.

There are lots of plans out there, but one I like is the public financing of elections, as is currently being practiced in Arizona (and other states too, I believe). This absolutely eliminates the benefit of corporate donations.

Both Clinton and Bush were successful if you measure GDP growth, unemployment and inflation.

(The real cause, though, was Reaganomics. The last time America had an actual "bad" economy was during the Carter years.)

This rock or thorn as u put isn't turning into such, because it has always been. It's a thorn that bleeds free supplies and money to a country that knows how how to use the fears of other countries to the benefit of themselves. Its been working for quite some time. Its long past due for the world to take off that shoe and shake free that rock, or to remove that thorn and apply the proper medicine and band aid.
