Reduction of the Military Industrial Complex
Protect human life (abortion)

No Democrat or Republican has a much of a history of attempting to get any of these things done.

No the Democratic Party is a huge disappointment to the alternative: Republican Party. Most Americans were so overwhelmed with the Electoral Wins for the White House and the majority in Congress. However; President Obama can't do it along by himself. Many so called Blue-Dog Democrats have catered and bowed down to their demi-gods of the medical industries. Apparently in the US Senate Democrats on the Finance Committee; voted in favor the medical industry, who has received a total of 19 millions in campaign contributions. Now that they have majority I hope they don't blow it.

There has been a shift to the far right going on since the 90s... remember back then when being called a Conservative meant you were far right. When Bush JR was in office, the GOP moved even more to the right and now we have a group of Democrats called the blue dogs that are conservative. Far right is now being extreme radical and the religious right is the norm.

robgently - you're statements have been proven wrong over and over. Bush didn't start this war and he didn't act alone. The terrorists started this war on 911 and congress voted unanimously in support of it. The old "no WMD" mantra is just that...old...and sane people have moved past trying to turn it into a believable argument. You helped quite nicely to prove my point (see above statement).
