President Obama has already distanced himself from his detractors by miles. All of the 'swift boaters' are out of gas, out of ammo and out of luck. The right wing radio nitwits keep going on about 'socialism' and 'surrender' and 'closing Gitmo' and all of that silliness that actually lost them the respect of the entire world....not to mention an election. The ditto-heads still eat this BS up, but everyday that goes by the GOP's Ministry of Propaganda sounds evermore goofy even to many republicans. Closing Guantanamo....nobody has suggested that these guys should be 'let go'.....just that the prison there should be closed. Also the US is holding close to 25,000 people in prisons in Iraq and Afghanistan and there's no talk about them being released into the wild. What's been suggested is that prisoners here should be processed according to US law, not the cobbled together mess that the Bush Junta put together. That's the problem with right wing propaganda.....they tell people a fraction of the truth, which is the say thing a telling a lie. Obama will do a good job, and if not it won't be for lack of trying. No kiddin'!
